Carolyn MacLean (Carrow) has spent nearly two decades in the worlds of entertainment and education, most notably as a character performer for Walt Disney Parks and Resorts. With her film production degree from the Savannah College of Art and Design, Carrow has worked in many aspects of stage and film and has lent her talents to the Savannah Film Festival, Atlanta's aTVfest, and Chanel-Paris.

 

As a former member of the Board of Directors at Biddeford City Theater she's worn many hats, including social media manager, scenic and prop designer, and performer. Carrow also blends her backgrounds in entertainment and education in her work as a children’s librarian, young adult writer, and Carrowdactyl, professional dino wrangler with Jurassic Jo’s Dinos!

She is a member of the Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators, the Maine Library Association, and the Maine Student Book Award committee. She loves annoying her husband with dinosaur facts, singing showtunes with her toddler, and kissing her pets on the mouth.
